VM’s not appearing in vCenter 4.1 search…

[Update: See Part 2 for a possible way to fix this issue] Summary: This screenshot should sum it up, but there should be more than one result: Resolution: Restart the “ VMWare VirtualCenter Management Webservices” on your vCenter server. Other known related issue: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1024493

K8N Neo2 Platinum, Marvell 88E111, and Windows 7

Summary: This is mainly for my own reference should I need to rebuild my server because finding a compatible network driver for this old jalopy was painful.  Driver provided by MS would only connect @ 100Mbps and not @ the rated 1Gbps. Solution: Downloaded the Vista network driver and used it to replace my nVidia nForce3 Marvell 88E111 network controller generic driver. http://www.tyan.com/support_download_drivers.aspx?model=B.VX50B4985
